Hale Iki is a one bedroom, one bath Kauai vacation cottage with a fully equipped modern kitchen, and Asian inspired decor. The front porch, or lanai, with two teak chairs is located under the orchid festooned branches of a mango tree. In season, perfect mangoes drape right over the lanai. This cottage is perfect for couples and honeymooners.
The living room's large L-shaped couch pillows are covered in Japanese kimono fabrics. A large teak armoire houses the entertainment center along with a bounty of books and games. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything. A teak table serves as the cottage's dining spot.
The bedroom has a queen sized bed, bench, spacious closet, small dresser and Asian kimono rack for extra towels. The bathroom has a full tub and shower. Or use the outdoor shower behind the cottage under a coconut tree and clean off with the birds.
A Garden Oasis on the Kauai Coast
The garden receives as much attention as the cottages. Flowering vines drip from the fences, coconut fronds rustle in the wind and a majestic banyan and 17 coco palms stand guard over all. You will find a teak bench in the garden for relaxing. There is also a bamboo pavilion (shared with the other cottage) perfect for outdoor dining or just reading a book.
